Purpose of the position
For the Brussels Airlines lounges at Brussels Airport we are looking for a Lounge Host to reinforce the team. As a Lounge Host you focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience and always look for opportunities to pro-actively respond to the needs of our guests. You will guard over the strict lounge access policy and manage the space assuring it remains meticulous.
Working as a Lounge Host you will execute various roles of Lounge Host, Maître de Lounge and Lexus Brand Ambassador (Brussels Airlines has opened a brand new lounge in partnership with Lexus).
Main tasks & responsibilities
- Welcome guests in the Brussels Airlines lounge
- Guard over the strict lounge access rules
- Anticipate guest needs and act as a point of reference for guests who need assistance or information
- Ensure the overall lounge remains meticulous and make sure supplies of food and drinks are adequate in quantity and quality in cooperation with our caterer
- Coordinate operations on site for temporary additional activations (food and drinks tasting, etc.)
- Handle guests complaints when necessary
- Act as a Lounge Host and/or Maître de Lounge and/or Lexus Brand Ambassador
- Lexus Brand Ambassadors will be trained by Lexus in Omotenachi (Art of Hospitality) and will assist guests with the different Lexus activations and capture customer leads
Your profile
- High school diploma /degree in hospitality management or equivalent through relevant experience in hospitality
- Experience in aviation is a plus
- Proficiency in English, French and Dutch
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
- Customer service and hospitality are in your DNA
- Ability in multi-tasking and time management
- Coordination skills and aptitude to solve problems
- Ability to work in shifts (between 04h30 and 21h00) and weekends
