Mission

The Production Team Leader will primarily perform the same tasks and duties as the technicians within the team. In addition, they will take on leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient operations and team performance.

Tasks

Communication & Compliance

  • Ensure all applicable procedures, processes, and company/department communications are clearly communicated, understood, and followed by all team members.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all team communications.

Workforce Coordination

  • Understand the full potential and capabilities of all team members.
  • Advise the MCC Coordinator/Production Supervisor to support efficient manpower task assignment.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Provide continuous on-the-job training as required.
  • Ensure knowledge and experience are effectively shared within the team.

Team Motivation & Support

  • Motivate, assist, and provide corrective guidance to all team members daily.
  • Act as a mentor, fostering professional growth and development within the team.

Performance Evaluation

  • Conduct yearly appraisals of team members, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities.

Operational Support

  • Perform any other duties required by the Production Manager, Production Supervisor, and/or MCC Coordinator to ensure the safe and punctual departure of aircraft.

 

Your profile

  • Minimum A2 diploma, preferably from an aviation school or equivalent through experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a licensed engineer on at least two aircraft types operated by the company
  • Holder of a Part 66 B1 and/or B2 license or national equivalent
  • Strong coaching, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Takes time to listen
