HR Business Partner with focus on learning

Your role

As HR business partner, you work closely with business units’ managers in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of Isabel Group. You support and advise Managers in terms of management, organization structure, teamwork, performance management, succession planning, internal communication, etc.

Key accountabilities: 

  • Acts as a single point of the contact for managers in your business units. Builds a strong business relationship with the management team.
  • Manage HR processes such as salary review, training needs collection,… in close cooperation with Business Leaders and CHRO, provide expert inputs across a range of HR issues (Comp& Ben, learning & development (L&D), performance management, organization design, job rotation,…).
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning, contribute to create a solid workforce engagement and execution of workforce planning. Challenges the organizational structure and proposes changes. Support manager to identify and prepares development plans for employees. Identifies employees ready for the promotion and rotates best talents across different functions in the organization.
  • Work in a team to identify training and development needs within an organization through regular consultation within the team and with business managers. Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individuals.
  • Monitor L&D initiatives and create awareness around it. Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets. Plan and assess the 'return on investment' of any training or development programme.
  • Participate in cross-functional taskforce projects (Employer of choice, Develop Growth opportunity, Facilitate Talent mobility, On-board faster, Select to fit & Source, On-going feedback, High impact learning culture,…).
  • Take part in the works council when needed. Build and maintain good relationship with Union representatives.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all relevant employment legislation and internal company policies to ensure compliance with all local social and labour laws.
  • Keep up to date with external trends and best practice in the areas of expertise and HR more broadly. Continuously drive improvements in tools and policies through external market trends, insight and internal best practice.
