Purpose of the position
As IT Delivery Manager, you'll be the key link between Brussels Airlines' business teams in Maintenance & Engineering and our IT system suppliers. You'll manage current IT solutions and roll out new ones, ensuring smooth transitions and top-notch performance.
You'll be the go-to problem solver, maintaining business and operational continuity, and helping select and implement the best solutions for our evolving needs.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Synergy: Understand business processes and IT functions, integrating new solutions smoothly.
- Relationship Management: Handle daily interactions with business teams, meeting their IT needs.
- Reporting: Deliver regular IT status updates, highlighting risks, issues, and costs.
- Roadmap: Oversee the annual IT plan, scheduling activities and delegating tasks.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with external IT partners and manage budgets.
- Optimization: Work with the IT Service team to establish and review efficient support processes.
- Change Management: Assess and implement Change Requests, maintaining solution stability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify flaws and recommend improvements.
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in IT, with good understanding of key business processes.
- Skills: Understanding of IT architectures, system design, and cost management. Familiarity with ITIL, PRINCE-2, PMI-BOK or Agile models. Proficient in English; knowledge of French, Dutch, or German is a plus.
- Team Player: Aviation passionate with strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
- Innovative: Proactive, flexible, and customer-focused with strong communication abilities.
- Analytical: Able to derive business value from complex data sets.
- Performer: Deliver under pressure and establish structure in complex environments. Support services post-implementation.
