Purpose of the Position: The Emergency Response Planning Manager will ensure crisis and emergency responsiveness for the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) for any crisis or emergency event within the Lufthansa Group.

Profile: Key Responsibilities:

  1. Crisis & Emergency Strategy Development
    • Identify and analyze potential risks.
    • Define strategic objectives.
    • Align with Lufthansa Group's C&E policies.
    • Collaborate with various business units.
    • Liaise with stakeholders and authorities.
  2. C&E Response Organization Readiness
    • Conduct regular gap analyses.
    • Update and implement standard operating procedures.
    • Train team members on emergency roles.
    • Manage C&E response equipment and technology.
  3. Real Case Management Support
    • Brief team on situations.
    • Manage Crisis Room operations.
    • Coordinate internal and external resources.
    • Participate in post-incident reviews.
  4. C&E Performance Review and Improvement
    • Define review scope and objectives.
    • Analyze and update standards and procedures.
    • Monitor industry best practices.
  5. C&E Testing and Auditing
    • Plan and execute regular C&E tests.
    • Support and prepare for C&E audits.
    • Ensure compliance with international standards.
  6. Deputy to Crisis & Emergency Response Manager
    • Coordinate response efforts.
    • Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and compliance.

Your Profile:

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (Emergency & Disaster Management preferred).
  • 3 years of relevant experience in aviation or similar industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in English, Dutch, French.
  • Knowledge of Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in C&E tests, gap analysis, and audits (e.g., IOSA).
  • General operational knowledge of aviation.
